Rising to the challenge
As attendees of Purpose in 2023 will recall, we began thinking as deeply about climate risk and climate adaptation as we had about the reduction of carbon emissions.
It was no small task to get our heads around—businesses, startups, and nonprofits had to grapple with new approaches to resilient infrastructure, financial and legal risk, migration and demography, community cohesion, health and well-being, and the stability of supply chains.
This line of thinking led us to partner with AdaptNSW in 2024 to disseminate tools and resources to businesses, not-for-profits, and community leaders who wanted to equip themselves with the information and skills needed to navigate adaptation.
