Raisera McCulloch — Director, we are the mainstream
About RAISERA
Raisera McCulloch is living on Bunjalung country. As a Social Impact Specialist and Indigenous Development Practitioner, she focuses on measuring what matters, particularly for Indigenous individuals and communities. Learning to leverage her platform and position she has continued to shed light on the challenges facing her homeland, spreading awareness about Tuvalu's urgent need for support and protection.
With a focus on cultural competency, Raisera has over a decade of experience in International Development, philanthropy, and non-profits. Her ability to navigate the delicate intersection of Indigenous cultures and contemporary society has made her a sought-after cultural consultant for organisational health. Raisera possesses a unique set of skills that empower others to embrace their own cultural identities.
She has a keen interest in deconstructing and unlearning colonial misreading of the Bible and is studying theology. In 2020, she founded Indigenous Giving Circle, a ground breaking initiative aimed at decolonising wealth and promoting reparations in philanthropy.
Her unique perspective lies in the profound belief that cultural identity is a source of strength, resilience, and unity, and this philosophy guides her work.
