Sally Hill - Founder & Director

Sally is the founder of Purpose and a long-time advocate of responsible and sustainable business.
Sally founded one of Australia's first B Corps, Wildwon, and, in 2015, established the Purpose Conference. Sally curates the Purpose program and is the common denominator among many of Purpose’s partners, community and team.
Immediately prior to rebooting Purpose in 2022, Sally worked with Climate 200, bringing business on board to support the historic 2022 ‘climate election’ result.

Madeleine Gasparinatos - Social Lead

A self professed ‘jack of all trades, master of none’, Madeleine has worked across content, events and production for some of the most recognised names in Australia - Blundstone, Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney Theatre Company, NewsCorp, Sephora, Andy Allen, Broadsheet and FIX. Dining.
After 15 years in Sydney she recently relocated to a farm in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. Madeleine worked on Purpose 2016, attended in 2018, and was thrilled to be called up to work across content and partnership on Purpose 2022.
Susie Bayes - Advisory Board

Susie is a purpose-driven partnership specialist focussed on systemic change. She was formerly Guardian Australia’s Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, funding investigative journalism for impact. She served on the board of the Banksia Foundation for sustainability from 2017-22 and is a purpose-driven mentor.

Michael Bradley - Advisory Board

Michael is a lawyer and writer. He is managing partner of Marque Lawyers, a law firm which uniquely combines commercial practice with an extensive commitment to human rights and social justice work.
He is a regular columnist with Crikey and has written several books including Coniston, a history of the last massacre of Aboriginal people and System Failure: the Silencing of Rape Survivors. Michael is also an advisory board member of the Grace Tame Foundation.
Kate Hurst - Creative Director

Daisy is our "behind the scenes" administrative assistant from the Philippines. Her years of experience as a Virtual Assistant has enhanced her ability to provide us with excellent support and outcomes in administration.
Daisy believes she is now on a mission to help us realise our vision for this year's Purpose Conference. She frees our hands on micro tasks and admin work so we can focus more on core activities leading up to the event.
She cares deeply about the environment and the impact of climate change on the planet which makes her a perfect addition for our team.
In her spare time, she volunteers to teach young children reading and loves to inspire them to care for the environment. She organises activities and projects on waste management and recycling. She hopes that by educating the next generation, she can help create a more sustainable and healthier world for everyone.
Holly Horne - Operations Lead

Holly is known for having a voice that’s like honey, and the smoothest style of operating.
In the Purpose team, Holly is therefore (of course) the liaison between the conference and our sponsors, partners and speakers. Most recently, Holly has worked as COO at Mindfulness.com - an innovative mental fitness company for meditation, sleep, daily coaching and community connection. She’s thrilled to join the team at Purpose and we’re equally excited to have her.
Kyle Turner - Advisor

Dr Kyle Turner, Wiradjuri (he/him), is the CEO and Founder of Pearlii, a dental company on a mission to improve oral health around the globe. using world-first AI technology to provide free, fast dental check-ups and free oral health education.
Kyle previously held research / teaching posts at the University of Oxford and the University of Melbourne, publishing widely on the burden of chronic diseases - with a heavy focus on prevention. Kyle has a demonstrated passion for improving the health outcomes of First Nation Peoples and other disadvantaged groups.

Founded in 2020, Xylo Systems is a cloud-based platform using artificial intelligence to connect, track and manage conservation projects so that we can tackle the extinction crisis faster, together.

Tash's career has been dedicated to working in businesses that have a positive impact on the world and Tash has a particular knack for helping founders to bring their vision to life.
For Purpose, Tash is helping to operationalise our entire team’s work and bring all facets of Purpose to life.

Andy Marks - Strategic Advisor

Andy Marks is Strategic Advisor to the wonderfully complex project that is Purpose, guiding the team towards a successful and high impact event, in every sense of these words.
He’s a circular pioneer working with the hotel industry in the UK to transform end of life bed linen into premium bags and sleepwear and gained a lot of fans as the Impact Producer of the ABC’s War on Waste and as Program Director of ‘Fix and Make’. Geraldine Chin Moody - Advisor

Geraldine currently works as a Non-Executive Director, strategic advisor and coach. As a career portfolioist, she draws on her experience in Senior Executive and Board roles across aviation, finance, professional services, start ups and not-for-profits. However, it is her life experiences before, during and after her Senior Executive roles that shapes what, why and how she contributes to each project she undertakes.
